Does the food really taste better?

Well, I personally think it is a matter of personal opinion, some say that you don't get the nice smoked or charcoal taste when cooking on Gas. This really does dependon how the food is prepared, how old the lava rock is on your gas BBQ, the older the lava rock and the more fat from previous barbeques, the better the food can taste.

Charcoal Barbques take longer to get going, most people make the mistake of not waiting until the charcoal is hot enough. One downside is you have the ash to clear up afterwards.
